Sabine Kern
Sabine Kern is the founder of the Dynamisch Bewegen® movement model. She has many years of experience as a physiotherapist, during which she has worked with people with a wide range of movement problems and limitations: from those with severe multiple disabilities to athletes with specific movement needs, and from premature babies to the elderly. The Dynamisch Bewegen® movement model has proven itself in practice as a valuable starting point for a process of change that does not focus on the problems a person experiences, but aims to resolve the underlying movement limitations by reconnecting people with the possibilities offered by their individual movement system.
These possibilities are accessible to everyone with sufficient understanding of this system, or can be made accessible again with the right guidance. In 2014, her book ‘Dynamisch Bewegen: a movement model; the human movement system as a dynamic system’ was published. In 2018, she published a revised edition of the book in German.
Sabine Kern delivers courses, training programmes and lectures both at home and abroad.
